PURPOSE

Twenty years ago, in the summer of 2005, twenty friends who had chosen Tinos as our summer residence, founded the charitable association "The Friends of Tinos"

Executives of the private and public sector, scientists and businessmen, most of us, decided to work voluntarily and to dedicate our time, skills and acquaintances to make a reality our common vision: the social contribution to Tinos in the fields of culture, health, education and environmental protection.

OUR ACTIVITIES

We improved the infrastructure of the Health Center, contributed to the patient airlift program and provided medical equipment to the island in difficult times.

We renovated school facilities, offered technological equipment, supported educational trips.

We organized concerts, theatrical performances, art exhibitions with leading Greek artists.

Beach cleaning, maintenance of the Lighthouse of Livada, support of the Fire Brigade.

Our association now has 108 active members.

In our effort to support the island’s healthcare services, we donated the furniture for the renovation of the Rural Doctor’s office in the village Agapi, Tinos.
